Harish Mehta, a man who was playing the role of Hanuman in the play ‘Ramlila’, and died during the performance on stage in Bhiwani, Haryana on Monday. This person named Harish Mehta suffered a heart attack during the performance.
The incident came to light during an event called “Raj Tilak” in honor of Lord Ram, which was being organized in the Jawahar Chowk area of Bhiwani.
Harish took a bowing position at the feet of Lord Rama, he suddenly fell, and his lifeless body left the audience in shock. For some time the audience thought it was part of the act, but when an attempt was made to lift him from the stage, he did not respond.
Still, in his Hanuman attire, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him ‘dead’. He was retired as a junior engineer in the electricity department. He has been playing the character of Hanuman for the last 25 years.
He suffered a heart attack when he was in Ayodhya to witness the much-awaited ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol. As of death, he was 65 years old. His exact date of birth is not mentioned yet.
